Disney Teasing Major Unannounced Release for Next Year, Likely Kingdom Hearts HD

We already know that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is headed to Japan, but a recent report indicates that it may be headed to the West next year as well.

According to Business Insider, Jay Rasulo, Disney Interactive’s CFO teased two big releases for next year, one of which has not yet been revealed. Of course the first is Epic Mickey 2, which leaves us speculating that the other is Kingdom Hearts HD. If this turns out to be the case, Disney will be making a lot of Square fans very happy.

“We start the year right out with a big title Epic Mickey 2, and another big title that hasn’t been announced yet, but coming mid-year, and continuing to grow in the social space,” Rasulo said.

How badly would you like to see a high definition version of Kingdom Hearts and  RE: Chain of Memories? I’m still a little annoyed they’ve left out Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep. Clearly it’s all part of their plan to squeeze even more money out of us.
