SuperBot Details Single-Player, New Additions to PlayStation All-Stars

The release of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale is just a couple of months away, and the dev team is unsurprisingly working furiously to get the game ready for launch.

On the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast, Sony Santa Monica’s Seth Killian shared a number of new juicy details on SuperBot’s upcoming brawler, including info on the game’s single-player, Easter eggs and much more.

PSABR will include combat trials and various challenges that will give players an opportunity to try out all of the characters’ cool combos and build up experience to unlock various stuff. Killian teased the progression system, saying that it’s definitely one of the most impressive systems he’s seen in a fighter.

To enhance the experience, they’ve included an announcer who will inform players every time one of the fighters has reached a new level of their “super” attack. They’re also unifying the game’s cast of brawlers, attaching each character to corresponding rival. They used Dante and Nariko as an example.

For those that want to get into all the nitty gritty, be sure to listen to the entire episode of the show right here.
