We previously reported that Telltale’s complete The Walking Dead series is set to grace North American store shelves on December 4th (still no release date for Europe.) Now, through an Amazon listing, we’re treated to what looks like the final boxart for Telltale’s dark, dynamic series.
And boy, is it appropriate. Characters Lee and Clementine are depicted holding hands, while a zombie menacingly approaches from behind. Amazon is also pricing The Walking Dead for $29.99. The price is just a $5 step up from buying the games digitally, which seems justified. And for that price the whole series is physically at your disposal, including:
- Episode 1: A New Day
- Episode 2: Starved for Help
- Episode 3: Long Road Ahead
- Episode 4: Around Every Corner
- Episode 5: No Time Left
For the sake of clarity, keep in mind that none of this is technically official yet, and the top image isn’t the actual disc.
Do you feel $30 is a fair price for the first interactive season of The Walking Dead? What do you think of the beautiful, morbidly fitting boxart?
