Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault On Vita Delayed Till 2013

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault was supposed to release for the PS3 (both in stores and on the PSN) and PlayStation Vita (PSN only) on November 27th, but it was announced today that the PS Vita version has been delayed until January 2013.

The reason behind this delay is that Tin Giant, the developer in charge of porting Insomniac’s PS3 version to the handheld, wants “to ensure that your experience is packed with all the action and polish you’d expect from a Ratchet & Clank game.”

In order to make this delay hurt a little less, the first piece of DLC, the Mini-Boss Skin Pack, will be offered for free to anyone who buys the game on PS3 (which comes with a Vita copy for free). The pack includes three different boss skins from previous Ratchet & Clank games, which you can see below:

As disappointing as this news is for Vita owners, it at least shows that Sony doesn’t want to rush out an unfinished product.

Will you be buying the PlayStation 3 version next week? Let us know in the comments section.
