PlayStation Vita System Software Version 2.02 Now Available For Download

December 18, 2012Written by Jason Dunning

It’s completely optional and is only big enough to take up about a minute or two of your time to download and install, but version 2.02 of the PlayStation Vita system software is now available.

According to @PlayStation, this update just “improves software stability during use of some features”. After playing around with my Vita after the new update, I wasn’t able to notice anything that changed, though if you happen to spot something different after installing the patch, feel free to let us know what it is in the comments below.

While you’re connected to the internet with your handheld, be sure to check out some of the new games that launched today when the PlayStation Store updated, including Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD and demos for Sound Shapes and When Vikings Attack!
