On March 7th, the Vita-exclusive multiplayer action-RPG Soul Sacrifice will launch in Japan in two versions: the standalone version for about 6,000 yen (like $64), and the hardware bundle for about 25,000 yen (like $275). Said bundle includes the limited edition Vita hardware pictured above, soft case, earbuds, Vita wrist strap, and a 4 GB memory card.
Recently, a pair of commercials have begun to play on Japanese TV. Here’s the first:
The voice yells “With magic! With magic! Hunt with magic!”
The second commercial, in which the announcer encourages players to “hunt with magic!” The character voice bits are simple phrases like “I’m going!” and “Now!”
At this time, this bundle is not expected to cross any international borders, but at least the game will be released on April 30th in North America and May 1st in Europe. You can check out the box art and pre-order bonuses here. I played this game at the Tokyo Game Show and posted my thoughts afterward.
