Lone Survivor Heads to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita This Summer, Includes Cross Buy

Following the lead of other indie PC games (Hotline Miami and Thomas Was Alone) making their way to the PlayStation family, it has been confirmed that Lone Survivor is hitting the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this summer. Handling port duties of Jasper Byrne’s psychological survival game is Curve, the same team who is working on Thomas Was Alone for PS3/PS Vita.

For the PlayStation versions of Lone Survivor, you can expect Trophies, Cross Buy, Cross Save, 19 new items, new dialogue with NPC’s, two big new side quests, and a new ‘Yellow’ ending, which includes an exclusive piece of music. Curve is also looking into touch screen control for use with movement and inventory, something that hopefully makes it into the final product.

If you’ve never heard of Lone Survivor before today, it has you playing as a masked man “who must escape from a city ravaged by disease, by any means necessary. Starving and exhausted, he has begun to question how much of what he sees is even real. Lone Survivor is a new kind of adventure where the choice of how to survive is up to you.”
