Jak & Daxter Collection Arrives on the PlayStation Vita This June in North America and Europe

Looks like the ESRB and retailers were right as Sony has confirmed that the Jak & Daxter Collection (includes Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3) is headed to the PlayStation Vita this June, 16 months after it first appeared on the PlayStation 3. Even though you can grab the PS3 version for $19.99, the PS Vita version is going to cost $29.99/£24.99 at launch, appearing both as a physical package in stores and as a digital release on the PSN.

On the handheld, you can expect it to “feature authentically reproduced graphics from the original games.” In addition, certain mini games will have the inclusion of touch screen support, and the Trophy list is going to be separate from the PlayStation 3’s, meaning that you can earn these trophies all over again.

An exact date in June wasn’t narrowed, so keep an eye on our June 2013 release date page to see when it gets confirmed.
