Call of Duty: Ghosts Listed by Retailer for PS3 and Xbox 360 (Update: Leaked Target ad Gives it a November 5th Release Date)

Update: Target’s ad for May 5th – 11th has popped up in the forums, stating that Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release on Tuesday, November 5th:

Original Story: We’re still awaiting the news of a release date for the Uprising DLC on PlayStation 3, as it is already available on Xbox 360, but if a listing by Tesco is true, we know the name of the next Call of Duty video game, which will presumably launch this November.

Titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, they give it a filler date of December 30th, 2012, while also posting a possible box art:

And here’s a completely unverified video from March about Call of Duty: Ghosts, offering up some possible gameplay and plot details. Thanks to the Ghosts listing at Tesco, this information has gained some weight, but remember, this isn’t verified, though most of it does make sense:

Considering that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was officially revealed by Activision on May 1st of last year, an announcement regarding the newest entry in the Call of Duty franchise shouldn’t be too far away.

When Activision does detail a new Call of Duty, we’ll be sure to let you know.
