Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn out This Summer, PS3 Beta Scheduled for June

It looks like Square Enix was a little off on their original estimation of a summer launch for the third beta phase in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which allows PlayStation 3 owners to participate, because they announced today that it’s scheduled to start in June. Following phase 3 will be phase 4, the final one, which then leads up to the new summer launch window for the full game.

When the beta does go live, you’ll be able to play against PC players thanks to the cross-platform functionality, and the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa will also be opened up.
