SCEA Trademarks Gateways to Greatness: “Non-Downloadable Films and Movies Via a Video-on-Demand Service”

We might be onto something here. Earlier today, we let you know about Bid for Greatness, some sort of PSN auction house, and now we’ve found yet another trademark with Greatness in it.

Yet again highlighting a possible connection with the Greatness Awaits ad campaign, SCEA has trademarked ‘Gateways to Greatness’, PSLS has discovered.

Again, this isn’t just a slogan – it’s a video streaming platform of sorts, with the listing saying:

Video broadcasting services over the Internet or other communications network featuring the uploaded, posted and tagged videos of others; Video transmission over digital networks; Video-on-demand transmission services via the Internet

And:

Electronic games services provided by means of the internet; Providing a website for entertainment purposes featuring videos about computer games; Provision of non-downloadable films and movies via a video-on-demand service

Providing a web site featuring temporary use of non-downloadable software allowing web site users to upload on-line videos for sharing with others for entertainment purposes

What do you think about all this? One thing is for sure – even though E3 is out the way, there’s still a ton we don’t know about the PS4. Stick to PSLS, and we’ll make sure you know more soon.
