In the wake of the gameplay video being readily available for your viewing pleasure, new Grand Theft Auto V screenshots aren’t as important as they once were, but Rockstar brought out some new ones today ahead of the September 17th release date for the game, and they look really nice:
Turning the rumor mill, Felipe Busquets, Lead Cinematics Animator at Rockstar, recently tweeted out (since deleted, but screenshot taken by Jeuxcapt, via), “This week is #online.” The obvious conclusion to jump to is that we’ll be hearing about Grand Theft Auto Online, Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer mode teased at the end of the gameplay video, at some point this week. If it does happen, we’ll be sure to let you know.
If the announcement doesn’t come this week though, Rockstar is expected to be at gamescom at the end of August, which should give us some more Grand Theft Auto V news.
