Update: Jessica has further confirmed that there won’t be a PS4 demo, and the game will be available on the PlayStation Network when the clock strikes midnight on November 15th. Also, if you’ve forgotten, Rivals will be 1080p/30fps on PS4 and Xbox One.
Original Story: It’s weird to finally be saying this, but the PS4 launches next week!
While the release date for a lot of PS4 launch titles has been confirmed, and some PSN titles like Minecraft are still awaiting confirmation, EA’s Need for Speed: Rivals had an originally confirmed release date of November 22nd, the week after PS4 launch.
In a new update on the PS Blog, EA Community Manager Jessica Damerst has confirmed that Need for Speed: Rivals will release with the PS4 on November 15th in the United States and Canada, the same day as the PS4.
The release date for Need for Speed: Rivals in Europe is still November 29th.
It remains to be seen if EA will be changing their mind when it comes to NBA Live 14’s November 19th release date, so stay tuned for details.
