343 Industries Programmer Joins Naughty Dog

Corrinne Yu, a principle engine programmer at 343 Industries, has left the company and taken up a position for PlayStation 4 graphics coding at Naughty Dog. Yu had been with 343 Industries since 2008 and most recently worked on Halo 4, particularly on lighting technology that was utilized in the game and then later patented by Microsoft.

Prior to her position at 343, Yu worked as a director of technology at Gearbox Software, where she programmed for titles like Borderlands and Brothers in Arms. She has also had experience coding for the likes of 3D Realms, Apple, Intel, and others.

Given its recent announcement, there is a strong chance Yu will be bringing her experience to the new Uncharted being developed for the PS4.
