PSLS PlayList: March 8th & 9th, 2014 – Apocalypse Edition

Since I thought up the idea for this week’s PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList title the second after Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition was announced, and Chandler and D’yani enjoyed their livestream so much, I decided to keep it. Otherwise, it would be called the Farewell Edition, due to both Jack Tretton and Amy Hennig moving on from their current positions.

Here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Anthony Severino (@Sev_Anthony)

What a week I’ve had! That said, I can’t imagine I’ll be playing anything the “catch up in my personal life” game, where I’m currently losing at. And unfortunately, there no trophy guides or cheats that can help me there. Although I’m sure my daughter will want me to spend some game time with her, so likely Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare or something on the Wii U.

Cameron Teague

Well I shouldn’t be playing anything, since I will be playing with my daughter on a beach in Alabama. However, as a hardcore gamer, I will still be taking my PS3 along with me to play some more Atelier Escha & Logy.

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

D’yani and I had so much fun with Broadcast+ Mode on Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition that we might have to do that again, but I’m betting I’ll end up playing Moving Simulator 2014 DX Hyper Edition as I attempt to do more packing, building furniture, and calling to set up internet, electrical, and plumbing for our house so that we can finally get around to playing the sequel: Homeowner Xtreme+.

The funny thing is, I would totally love to play Moving Simulator 2014 DX Hyper Edition or Homeowner Xtreme+ over actual packing and moving. If only I could turn my life into a simulation game… I will work on that this weekend.

Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)

I plan on dying over the weekend numerous times. Past that, I will be working on Monday’s Gamer Academy guide and my drawing for our fan art Showcase on Tuesday. There is also a chance that I will make it to Sacramento Comic-Con over the weekend, but I just don’t know if I will get any real free time to go.

Jason Dunning (@Jasonad21)

I got a Yu-Gi-Oh game for the Nintendo DS. So a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! on the Nintendo DS (and maybe some Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2).

On a semi-related note, there’s apparently a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game coming to XBLA (no word on PSN) where you can duel pretty much anyone from the TV show, so that would get my time and money later this month if it’s real.

John VanderSchuit

BATTLEFIELD 4. BUT THIS TIME WITH ABOUT 8 BEERS.

Russell Ritchey (@RussellCRitchey)

Between trips to work and a few hours exploring the yearly Cold Wars convention; this weekend will finally see me beat the main story in A Realm Reborn about 4 months behind the rest of the world. I’m a late bloomer.

Louis Edwards

I’m going down to South Park.
