Destiny PlayStation-Exclusive Content to Stay Exclusive Until Fall 2015, According to Online Retailer (Update)

Update: Activision has confirmed to Eurogamer that the Destiny PlayStation-exclusive DLC will remain exclusive until “fall 2015.”

Original Story: We already knew that the PlayStation-exclusive Destiny DLC would only be exclusive for a limited time, and now, Amazon has revealed that the content will stay on PS3 and PS4 until at least fall 2015:

Exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners includes the Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map, Dust Palace Strike, Weapons, Ships and Gear that will only be on PlayStation until at least fall 2015.

Amazon also says PS4 owners of Destiny will get a 30-day PlayStation Plus free trial.

Additionally, anyone who pre-orders Destiny receives access to the beta starting on July 17th. If you happen to pre-order the digital version of Destiny, Bungie said:

Greetings Guardians,

If you pre-ordered Destiny digitally through PSN on PlayStation 4 and are wondering where your Beta code is, fear not! We now have official word from Bungie and Sony that you are being looked after.

When the Beta draws nearer (July 17th if you didn’t know), you will receive an email or direct message through the PlayStation Network with details on how the Beta will work. Keep in mind, you will NOT receive a Beta code through this pre-order method. When the time comes, your Beta access will be provided automatically as a reward from your digital pre-order.

In short, do not fret. You will all be able to access the Beta come July 17th.

Be brave Guardians. We have less than a month.

Will you be participating in the beta next month?
