According to a report in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, the final entry in the Dead or Alive 5 series will introduce two new characters alongside content from the previous versions of the game.
Apparently, Koei Tecmo’s new “Soft Engine” is being used to develop a female character, which Famitsu insists is not a returning fighter. The “Soft Engine” is used to accurately depict the “softness” and “warmth” of a character’s body. The magazine also reports that there will be a new male character, but didn’t have any other information.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will see the return of “The Danger Zone” stage from Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2. In terms of character customization, we’re told that the game will have “additional hairstyles.”
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is scheduled for release in 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
