Battlefield 4 Final Stand DLC Map and Gadgets Info Revealed

With Battlefield 4’s final expansion aptly named Final Stand right around the corner, DICE has now unleashed a slew of info for the DLC.

Over on the official Battlefield Blog, DICE has released our first details on Final Stand’s maps and gadgets.

• Operation Whiteout –  You’ll fight through both enemy fire and the Siberian cold
• Hammerhead – Explore a submarine base when you hit the mountainous Hammerhead
• Hangar 21 – Military secrets and hints of future battlefields lie within 
• Giants of Karelia – You’ll encounter both rural areas and a high-tech weapons factory

Over on the new equipment front, Final Stand will introduce military hardware from the near future. There’s the HT-95 Levkov, which has the capability to move sideways while strafing, the Rorsch MK-1 that DICE says will “make sharp shooters drool,” and the flying XD-1 Accipiter – a Battle Pickup flying drone that’s equipped with an LMG.

Finally, DICE is letting PC BF4 players check out Final Stand early via its CTE (Community Test Environment) initiative.
