In a press conference that preludes the inaugural GameStart 2014 convention in Singapore, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment producer Yosuke Futami announced that Sword Art Online: Lost Song will be localized for the Asian region. The localization will be in English and will be released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2015.
Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the latest entry in Bandai Namco’s action-RPG series, which is based on the Sword Art Online novels. One of the game’s key new mechanics is aerial combat. Futami-san also stated earlier this week that Lost Song isn’t even an RPG, and is more of an action title.
Western gamers who are interested in playing Lost Song might be forced to import however, as no release date for the US or European market was revealed.
PlayStation LifeStyle will be covering GameStart 2014 and will bring you news, previews, and features from the convention.
