Best Buy to Open at Midnight EST, Nov 3, Across US for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Launch

Overlooking any time zone differences, Best Buy has announced that it will open 800+ stores across the United States at midnight Eastern Time on Monday, November 3, to mark the launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This means that folks living in Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones need not wait till the clock strikes 12 in their part of the world. The company said on its website:

It’s getting the blockbuster game the second it is available – that would be 12:01 A.M. Eastern, 9:01 P.M. Pacific and everything in between (Yes, you’ve read that right!) – at one of the more than 800 Best Buy stores opening early for the launch. Whether you pre-order the Day Zero edition or not, you can begin the next chapter of Call of Duty starting at 12:01 a.m. EST on Monday, Nov. 3.

Analysts have recently predicted that Advanced Warfare will sell 40 percent less than its predecessor, Ghosts. In light of this, it’ll be interesting to note early sales figures for the title.

Anyone planning on heading over to Best Buy for the launch?
