Joseph Kosinski, the director of Oblivion and Tron: Legacy, is apparently in early talks to direct Sony’s upcoming Gran Turismo movie, which is to be an adaptation of the PlayStation series of the same name.
As of right, little plot details have been released, but according to Kazunori Yamauchi, Lead Designer of the Gran Turismo video game series, the story might have to do with a gamer who somehow ends up racing cars. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, because it looks like Kosinski will be creating a new script if he does indeed direct the movie.
