While Telltale Games announced The Walking Dead Season 3 all the way back in July 2014, we may be getting some more The Walking Dead before that.
During a panel at SXSW, Telltale Director of PR Job J Stauffer said, “[Season three] is not necessarily something you can expect to see super, super soon… but I think you can maybe perhaps expect to see The Walking Dead again sooner.”
Meanwhile, last week saw Skybound, the publisher behind The Walking Dead comics, teasing news on The Walking Dead game soon:

Between Season 1 and Season 2 of The Walking Dead, Telltale Games released 400 Days, which acted as a side story looking at other characters and their journeys. It’s possible Telltale is planning something similar to bridge the gap between Season 2 and Season 3.
As Stauffer said though, it could be some time before Season 3 of The Walking Dead is out, considering Telltale is working on Game of Thrones, Tales From the Borderlands, Minecraft: Story Mode, and more right now.
