New Mortal Kombat X Trailer Confirms Liu Kang, Shows off New Gameplay (Update)

In an international exclusive new Mortal Kombat X trailer (it’s voiced in English), Maxim Russia and Warner Bros have put the focus on three characters: Kung Lao, newcomer Kung Jin, and Liu Kang. Yes, as the trailer confirms, Liu Kang will be back as a playable fighter in MKX.

Today, MAXIM & Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the Mortal Kombat X Official Shaolin Trailer, which puts the spotlight on three characters: Sharp-witted Kung Lao, series newcomer Kung Jin and Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatant Liu Kang. The trailer provides further insight into Mortal Kombat X’s story, revealing that Raiden’s champions of Earthrealm from the past have risen from the dead, under the control of the sinister former Elder God, Shinnok.

If you’re looking to get the digital copy of Mortal Kombat X on PlayStation 4, the PlayStation Store says it will take up 31.2GB.

Mortal Kombat X releases for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 14 worldwide, while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions don’t launch until this Summer.
