Dragon Age Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon DLC Releases on PS4 & PS3 in May, BioWare Hopes You Don’t Boycott it

Putting some of the questions to rest, the Dragon Age Twitter account confirmed that the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition is coming to “all other platforms” in May 2015, meaning PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 owners of the game will get it roughly two months after Xbox One and PC.

As part of a Q&A on Kotaku this past Friday, BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn talked about the Jaws of Hakkon DLC and how he hopes no one boycotts it as a result of the timed exclusivity:

Jaws of Hakkon is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and PC (through Origin). This approach allowed for a lot of support from Microsoft and Origin in launching the DLC, so did have that benefit for the team, and we appreciate the partnership. However, as a timed exclusive, it is definitely coming to the game’s other platforms, and based on our internal discussions I expect we’ll be announcing more details next week.

I hope no one boycotts the purchase, as it’s a pretty fun adventure that WILL be available on all platforms. That said, everyone is free to vote/message/communicate how they feel, so if that happens it happens. We’re definitely paying attention.

Meanwhile, Executive Producer Mark Darrah said, “Can’t go into too much detail on future DLC but we will be looking at more story heavy stuff.” Additionally, the Black Emporium content is planned for May.

Will you be getting Jaws of Hakkon this May?
