UK Sales Chart: Batman Arkham Knight Has the Biggest Debut of Any Game in 2015

A title previously held by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham Knight now owns the biggest Week 1 of any new release in 2015, “comfortably” beating The Witcher 3. Arkham Knight also had the best Week 1 for any game in the Batman franchise, outselling Arkham City.

Arkham Knight adds to an already impressive year for Warner Bros, which has seen Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X, and LEGO Jurassic World appear in first place. The last time a publisher had at least four #1 games in the first half of a year was EA in 2012 with FIFA 12, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, SSX, Mass Effect 3, and FIFA Street.
