Renamed to Skullgirls 2nd Encore earlier this year, Lab Zero Games confirmed on Twitter yesterday that their upcoming fighting title is releasing on July 7 in North America for the PlayStation 4. You can pre-order the game for $24.99 on PlayStation Store, with PlayStation Plus members getting it for $19.99.
As for Skullgirls 2nd Encore in Europe, the game’s Twitter account said, “Don’t have a confirmed EU release date yet. Looking like it’ll probably be around 2 weeks later.”
Featuring cross-buy with the PlayStation Vita version, Lab Zero Games says, “We’re still working on Skullgirls 2nd Encore for PS Vita, and hope to have it out 6 weeks after the initial PS4 release. Still cross-buy!”
For those of you who own the PlayStation 3 version of Skullgirls, which will be cross-play with the PS4/PS Vita versions: “Robo-Fortune will hit Skullgirls on PS3 on 7/7 in the US and 7/9 in the EU. No word on [Japan] yet. PC will be simultaneous with US PS3 release.”
