Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut out Next Week on PS4 and PS3, Complete With Cross-Buy

The ultimate edition of the first-person physics puzzle game, Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is releasing on July 21 in North America and July 22 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, complete with cross-buy, priced at €$9.99.

With the PS4 version running at 1080p/60fps, Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) sees you waking up in a mystery-packed spaceship. In order to find your way home and discover all the secrets of the ship, you’ll need to manipulate a collection of physics-bending blocks.

Grip Games adds:

In addition to the existing first-person platforming challenges, 3D jigsaws, bonus pick-ups and myriad of hurdles combining precision, logic and quick reactions, this new edition adds exclusive new levels including Against The Qlock, with time trials to win you a place on the scoreboard for friends all around the universe to applaud – or challenge!

A cross-platform hit on its original release, Q.U.B.E has been expanded and enriched in this all-new edition published by Grip Games and masterminded by original developers Toxic Games, who brought in award-winning industry legend Rob Yescombe, writer for Crysis 2 and Alien: Isolation, and actors Rupert Evans and Rachel Robinson, to bring a whole new level of immersion to Q.U.B.E’s mystery-filled narrative.

Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is also coming to Xbox One on July 24 and Wii U in August.

A sequel to Q.U.B.E., titled Q.U.B.E. 2, is in development for the PS4 and will include Project Morpheus support.
