While remasters and remakes are quickly becoming the norm this gen, don’t assume that you’ll see a Kingdom Hearts Remix PS4 port or remaster anytime soon.
In an interview with Ruliweb, franchise director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that there are “no plans” for the older games to be ported to the PlayStation 4.
Recently, we also received a significant increase in requests for the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix to be released on the PS4. Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans for that.
Given that we’re still waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3, maybe Square Enix should get that game out first before we even bug them for the ports, no?
