Capcom has announced that its Dragon’s Dogma franchise sold over 2.3 million units by the end of June 2015, making it a successful series for the company. The role-playing game first launched in May 2012.
The series’ success also extends to Dragon’s Dogma Online, a free-to-play title currently available in Japan only. The game saw one million downloads in its first ten days, which Capcom believes will help it to become one of the company’s “new core titles in its online business.” A Western release for Dragon’s Dogma Online has not been confirmed.
