Rainbow Six Siege Goes Gold, Final Inside Rainbow Gameplay Trailer Released

Meaning that it will launch worldwide on December 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as planned, Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six Siege has gone gold.

To go along with this news, Ubisoft released the final gameplay trailer in the Inside Rainbow video series, giving you a look at the Russian Spetsnaz counter-terrorism unit:

Rainbow is an elite team composed of members of the best Special Forces units from around the globe. In this new episode of Inside Rainbow, we invite you to learn more about the Spetsnaz Siege operators, the Russian counter-terrorism unit. Follow the blog at rainbow6.com/blog to learn even more about Glaz, Fuze, Kapkan and Tachanka.

Over on the Ubi Blog, the development team talked a bit about the Closed Alpha and Closed Beta:

In the Closed Alpha we discovered that defenders had the advantage. In the Closed Beta, we’re seeing the numbers go the other way in favor of the attackers. This is good because now that we’ve seen each side have an advantage in the gameplay, we have a better idea of what needs to be done in order to achieve stronger balance.

As previously revealed, Ubisoft plans on heavily supporting Siege for at least one year after launch.
