Rocket League Breaks Previous Concurrent Player Record, Snow Day to Return This Week

Thanks in part to its release on the Xbox One, Rocket League has broken its previous concurrent player record after seven months with a combined total of 185,000 players across all platforms. Announcing the news on Twitter, developer Psyonix thanked its dedicated community.

In other Rocket League news, Snow Day is going to return to the game’s online playlist this week. For those who aren’t aware, the field is iced over in Snow Day and the ball is replaced with a hockey puck.

If you haven’t played the game in a while, do note that an update was released last week aimed towards fixing bugs and introducing a ban system for players who delete content from their game files to avoid competitive matchmaking. For more on that, click here.
