PS4 Beat Xbox One in February 2016 in the United States, NPD Data Reveals

Making it back-to-back months at #1 to start the year, Sony announced that PlayStation 4 was the best-selling console in the United States in February 2016, as well as the leader in software sales, according to NPD data.

Here’s their full statement on the latest victory:

We would like to thank our fans and partners for making PlayStation 4 the top-selling hardware platform and the software sales leader in February, according to NPD. We continued to see strong year-over-year sales growth for PS4 hardware and software and are truly humbled by the support and enthusiasm from gamers. We will continue to deliver amazing gaming experiences with the upcoming launches of Ratchet & Clank, MLB The Show 16 and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

MLB 16 The Show releases on March 29 for PS4 and PlayStation 3, Ratchet & Clank follows on April 12 for PS4, and then Uncharted 4 comes out on May 10 for PS4.
