Ubisoft just sent over some more details for The Underground in a press release. Get the info below.
• Dragon’s Nest incursion: The biggest incursion to date takes place in Hell’s Kitchen. Cleaners have been ramping up their efforts to destroy the virus with fire, and are causing disorder that will eventually affect the Base of Operations if not stopped.
• Underground mode: Explore randomly generated dungeons comprised of subways, tunnels and sewers to fight deadly enemies. Players will tackle extreme threats and environmental hazards and dive into new challenges, receive new rewards and recover powerful loot.
All players will also get access to free content on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC.
• Challenge missions: Hudson Yards and the Queen’s Tunnel will be available in Challenge mode.
• Heroic difficulty: Players will be able to select the new Heroic difficulty setting for all the Falcon Lost and Clear Sky incursions and for all main missions that exist in Challenge mode.
Having broken several records, The Division now boasts 10 million who have spent up to three hours a day playing the game. Two expansions appeared in the presser: The Underground (coming August 2) and Survival. You can check out a trailer for the latter above and details of the former below.
Underground brings a host of new features and loot, beginning with the expansion’s eponymous mode, which puts Agents into subways, tunnels, and sewers generated with random layouts. Additionally, Underground features a new Incursion called Dragon’s Nest, which will be bigger than those found in the previous updates. Set in Hell’s Kitchen, it features the Cleaners as a primary enemy as they continue their haphazard and dangerous attempts to burn the virus out of New York City.
In addition to the above, three exclusive outfits will be given away for free to Ubisoft Club members: Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell.
