Resident Evil 5‘s current-gen versions are suffering from several issues that are being reported online, including but not limited to, frame-rate drops.
Some users reported on Reddit that Player 2 is unable to buy or upgrade weapons – an issue that’s apparently plaguing both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. Another glitch is preventing players from being able to defend themselves in the Survivors and Team Survivors mode as players can lose their primary weapon.
When one user contacted Capcom to specifically ask about the frame-rate drops and split-screen inventory bug, Capcom said that the developers are aware of the issues and are currently working to resolve them. Any updates will be announced via the Resident Evil Twitter account.
