Although Electronic Arts and DICE didn’t make an official announcement at the time of this writing, those who log into Star Wars Battlefront this weekend will earn 5,000 credits just for logging in. Additionally, the game is letting you try out all available heroes for free regardless of whether you’ve purchased any DLC or not.
This was first pointed out by a Twitter user, TheMigueltronic, and later confirmed by other publications including GameSpot, who noted that it received the notification about the heroes upon logging in. There’s an ongoing Star Wars celebration event so the offer is probably a part of it.
In other Battlefront news, the game is scheduled to receive a new offline mode on July 20, and Death Star expansion in September, which comes with “more new maps – on ground and in space – new weapons and Star Cards and two new heroes including one larger-than-life character we know you’ve been patiently waiting for,” according to DICE.
