NeocoreGames has released a new trailer for its upcoming “persistent” sandbox action RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. Focusing on blood and gore, the developer wants to give players an idea of how brutal things can be in war. In a press release, the company wrote:
Our goal is to develop the world’s very first Warhammer 40,000 Action RPG that is not only the true next step in the evolution of the genre, but puts the players in the middle of the never-ending war of the violent 41st millennium. In order to evoke the authentic atmosphere of this unforgiving universe we created a brutal combat system where players can vaporise, explode and dismember their enemies, do spectacular finishing moves and even use the destructible environment against them.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this year. If you haven’t already, you can check out our hands-on preview from E3 2016 here.
