If you’re picking up Deus Ex: Mankind Divided next week, you’ll have to download a day-one patch that’s almost 4GB on the PlayStation 4. To be precise, the patch is 3.821GB as can be seen in the image below, and it’s available now for the European version of the game at least.
Bringing the game to version 1.02, here’s what the update does:
- General bug fixing
- Functionality and localization improvements
- General stability tweaks
- Breach latest implementations
Very recently, Mankind Divided‘s Director Jean-François Dugas said that day-one patches are becoming a norm and although he doesn’t particularly like it, he thinks it’s better to patch the game than not doing anything at all. “You can test, and test, and test but there are always new ways and possibilities to test something that nobody tested it before,” he explained.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is out on Tuesday, August 23, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
