Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Stages Cost $15, Release Date Brought Forward

Originally slated for October 14, PlayStation VR-exclusive Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live has been moved forward to October 13 to coincide with the launch of the headset. Although VR Future Live is a free download from the PlayStation Store, you can’t play any content until you buy one of the three Stages, which will be available for $14.99 USD each.

If you don’t want to spend any money before playing VR Future Live, a free trial version with one song will also be released on October 13.

With the first Stage, releasing on October 13, you’ll receive these seven tracks:

  • Love Trial by 40mP
  • 1/6 – out of the gravity – by noa
  • Satisfaction by kz
  • Weekender Girl by kz & Hachioji P
  • 39 by DECO*27 & sasakure.UK
  • Cute Medley – Idol Sounds by Mitchie M
  • Love Song by Lamaze-P

Release dates for the other two Stages are TBA. The second Stage show stars Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka, while the 3rd Stage performance features MEIKO and KAITO.

Here’s the description for Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live:

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is a virtual reality Miku concert experience like no other. Putting on the PSVR headset transports you to a huge stadium filled with cheering Miku fans. Players can move throughout the audience or even up on stage to get the best vantage point of the event! They’ll also be able to keep time with their controllers, err I mean glow sticks, during song performances in order to unlock various easter eggs. After progressing through three songs, players will get a special solo encore performance by Miku!

In other Hatsune Miku VR news, the patch for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X that adds PlayStation VR support will be available on October 13. With this patch, you’ll be able to view concerts you created using the Concert Editor in VR.
