Naruto’s Road to Boruto Expansion Will Feature Mitsuki, Getting a “Full Edition”

New details have been revealed about Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4‘s upcoming Road to Boruto expansion. On the official website, Bandai Namco revealed that Mitsuki will be a playable character. Mitsuki will join Boruto (who is the son of Naruto, in case you were wondering who exactly that was) and Sarada as new playable characters in the upcoming expansion. They also released a new screenshot showing off the characters, which you can see above.

Here’s the full description from the site:

The “son” of Orochimaru shows great promise, and his talent in the Ninja Arts makes him a great addition to the Team Konohamaru!

Team Konohamaru will also work together in an awesome Team Ultimate Jutsu, where the strength of each members will add up in a devastating combo!

The other big news is that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be getting a re-release. While details are currently light, this “full edition” will include the base game, all three DLC packs (the two adventure mode scenarios and the Sound Four Ninjas DLC), and the Road to Boruto expansion. It doesn’t state if this will be a physical item, or just a digital deal, but we’ll update the story once more details are revealed.

Speaking of more details, the Naruto blog also teased that “more news on additional playable characters” will be coming soon, and that there are “more surprises” to come.
