Last week, Nintendo officially unveiled Nintendo Switch, their new home console releasing in March 2017. While the trailer was light on actual details, Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Switch Presentation livestreamed on January 12 will “include the launch date and pricing for Nintendo Switch, as well as a look at the lineup of games currently in development.”

Between now and the Presentation though, Nintendo doesn’t plan to release any additional information about Switch.

When Nintendo Switch launches in March, Nintendo plans to ship two million units globally. If you want to play it before then, hands-on events will happen as early as January in the United States, Europe, and Japan.

Despite games like Skyrim being shown in the Switch announcement trailer, Nintendo has come out to say, “You shouldn’t assume what you saw on the video represents actual game footage and further specifics on first-party games will be provided later.” Bethesda themselves haven’t confirmed if Skyrim is actually coming to Switch.

According to a Eurogamer report, Nintendo Switch includes a 6.2″ screen, 720p resolution, and a capacitive multi-touch screen.

Do you think Nintendo Switch will cost more than the $299.99 USD PS4 Slim?
