In December, a free Dishonored 2 update will add a New Game + mode and new Custom Difficulty settings, Arkane Studios and Bethesda announced today. More details about the update, including the release date, will be given in the coming weeks.
With Dishonored 2 offering “the freedom of choice to play and improvise as you like,” a new video, titled Play Your Way, was released today, offering insight from Arkane. Creative Director Harvey Smith said, “Some players move through the game like a shadow, without leaving anyone disturbed. Other players leave a big trail of blood and body parts. We try to support both fantasies – taking out your enemies with surgical precision and minimal collateral damage, or leaving the city burning at your back.”
On Twitter, Smith said “we would like to add mission select at some point.” There’s also an “update to lean coming.”
