After downloading the 2.1GB Final Fantasy XV update 1.04 and the Holiday Pack(free or paid), you’ll be able to access the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, which is a limited time event in the city of Altissia that runs until February 20. To access it, just select the “special” option on the main title screen.
With the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, you’ll find a number of carnival games like whack-a-cactuar, new side quests, new outfits for Noctis, a fireworks show, and “many more festive treats.” If you own the paid version of the Holiday Pack, you’ll have access to a carnival-themed, mariachi-inspired ensemble for Noctis to wear both inside and outside of the carnival in exchange for medallions won during the event.
As you can see in the patch notes for the latest Final Fantasy XV update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, an all-new manual photographing feature was also added today:
Commencement of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, a limited-time event
New events and photo frames for players who have purchased the Season Pass or downloaded the Holiday Pack
New photo mode allowing players to take in-game snapshots
Various bug fixes
