PSA: Diablo III Seasons Will Go Live for Consoles Starting March 31, Patch 2.5.0 Previewed

Blizzard announced last November that Diablo III‘s seasons will arrive on consoles sometime this year. The developer has now confirmed on Twitter that they’ll go live starting Friday, March 31, when Season 10 starts on PC.

In a post on Battle.net, Blizzard wrote:

If you’ve been waiting to experience a fresh start for your console characters, you’re in luck! For the first time, those who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be able to discover the fun of Seasons, including unique rewards and the Season Journey.

We’re told to expect complete details on this soon.

In other Diablo III news, Blizzard has offered players a preview of update 2.5.0 (2.4.3 released early January). Alongside quality of life updates, the patch will bring with it new features including The Armory. The studio wrote:

We’re happy to present a long-awaited feature we know you’ve been eager to get your hands on! The Armory enables players to store up to five complete character builds on each character, allowing you to swap seamlessly between set items, skills, runes, and gems with the click of a button.
