Blizzard has announced that Diablo III update 2.5.0 is now live in the Americas across all platforms. The developer hasn’t released console patch notes yet but users are reporting that it’s a rather small update. If you want an idea of what to expect then watch the video above or head over here to see the PC patch notes, some of which will be applicable to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions as well.
Those outside the US may have to wait a little bit longer for the patch to go live in their regions.
Elsewhere, Blizzard has fulfilled its promise of offering full details on Diablo III‘s console Seasons. In a lengthy blog post, the studio explains what the feature is all about, how to make a character, the Season Journey, rewards, and more followed by an FAQ section. We’ll update our readers when we have update 2.5.0 console-specific patch notes.
