Ubisoft Will Be Putting Its Servers Under Maintenance This Thursday

Ubisoft has announced via their forums that they will be performing server maintenance this Thursday, October 5. The server maintenance will take approximately eight hours, from 12AM EST to 8AM EST. The maintenance, as one should expect, will take down online features for all of their games.

Ubisoft has a bit more information on the maintenance:

Maintenance will be taking place on Thursday Oct 5th from 12am – 8am ET [4am – 12pm UTC] and will impact our online features and services.

During this time you may get disconnected from multiplayer portions of games and be unable to reconnect to other online features, devices, forums and websites. (Single player and offline play should still be available, minus leaderboards).

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we work to improve our services and ensure the best experience for you this upcoming holiday season.

Again, the maintenance will affect all of Ubisoft’s games online servers, including For Honor. The latest For Honor patch is also expected to go live on the 5th, read up on some of the changes:

Unlock Tech Fixes

  • Unlocked Attacks can no longer become unparryable.

Players were able to elect to launch attacks without having a target locked, and if they performed this in a particular way, the attack would still be aimed at you, but you could not parry it.

We fixed this by forcing the system to aim directly at the nearby target.

Will this Thursday’s server maintenance affect any of your game playing time?
