Destiny 2 weekly reset

The October 17 Destiny 2 weekly reset marks the Destiny 2 Prestige Raid, even though it doesn’t start until the October 18. The Nightfall this week is on Nessus and the Flashpoint is on Nessus as well.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset 10/17 – 10/23

Nightfall: Exodus Crash

Modifiers

Prism: Your attacks matching the focused element deal increased damage. All other elemental damage is reduced. Kinetic and incoming damage is unaffected. The focused element rotates periodically.

Timewarp – Rings: Vex time gates have appeared in the area. Pass through them to discharge temporal energy and extend the mission timer.

Challenges

Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.

Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.

Faster Than Lightning: As a fireteam, defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks before defeating Thaviks.

Flashpoint: Titan

Complete public events on Titan. Make sure to check out our Heroic Public Events guide to get the most credit for doing these public events, and a chance at exotics!

Leviathan Raid Rotation

  • The Gauntlet
  • Pleasure Gardens
  • Royal Pools
  • Calus

Meditations

Visit Ikora to replay story missions and earn tokens that can be redeemed for rewards.

  • Riptide: Without power, Zavala’s resistance has hit a wall. Travel deeper into the Arcology and help them past it.
  • Looped: No one’s heard from Cayde-6 since the Hunter took off for an uncharted world. Track him down.
  • Utopia: Venture deep into the heart of the Hive to retrieve a powerful Golden Age CPU—and make it out alive.

Don’t forget to visit the social space and pick up any quests or quest items you may need for the week, such as Cayde-6’s treasure maps, which place chests on Nessus this week.

The Destiny 2 weekly reset occurs every Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM Pacific (1:00 AM when Daylight Savings Time is active). The following activities are reset each week, allowing you to earn new rewards for completing them.

  • Weekly Milestones
    • Call to Arms Crucible Milestone
    • Destination Flashpoint Milestone
    • Clan XP Milestone
    • Weekly Challenges Milestone
  • Ikora Meditations (Replay story)
  • Eververse Bright Dust Inventory
  • Clan XP Rewards
  • Cayde-6 Treasure Maps
  • Raid Keys and Rewards

The weekly reset allows you to earn new rewards per character, except the Cayde-6 treasure maps which are account based. Destiny 2 Nightfalls are difficult timer based strikes. Rotating modifiers will allow you to earn additional time in various ways.

There is also a daily reset that occurs at the same time daily, resetting the challenges for each activity and replayable adventures at each patrol location. Information on the seasonal reset for clans is unavailable at this time.
