New Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Adds Android 13 and Tapion
Bandai Namco has announced through the latest V-Jump magazine that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive even more new DLC, as reported by the Japanese news blog Ryokutya. The key additions in this upcoming DLC will be the addition of two new characters, Android 13 and Tapion.
Android 13 is the main antagonist of the movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13! which has the sole objective of destroying Son Goku. Meanwhile, Tapion is called the hero of Konats planet that made his appearance in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon where he was intent on destroying the monster Hirudegarn while befriending Trunks in the process.
Other than these two characters, battle costumes from Universes 2 and 11 will be sold as DLC too. And there will be also a free addition of a new facility named Hero Colosseum, which will not only add a new story but also allow players to enact battles between figures.
It is worth noting that Bandai Namco is going to re-release Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in Japan with a Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 4 on November 22 that will come with a season pass to unlock the first 4 DLC batches that cover the Universe 6 and Future Trunks arcs. However, as this new DLC is marked as the 5th batch, it should be not included in this re-release, so all Xenoverse 2 players will need to purchase the DLC separately.
