Join the Fight when Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier Releases This Month

The Imaginarium announced today that their cinematic adventure game Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier will be hitting consoles this month on November 21. The game, which is set between the films Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, puts players right on the frontline of the conflict between humans and apes.

“Our aim is to bring new depth to choice-based adventure and offer that to our audience as an immersive, cinematic experience,” said Andy Serkis, Founder of The Imaginarium. “I’m proud to say that Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier does just that, combining the merits of both premier performance capture and next-generation story-telling.”

According to The Imaginarium, the game will feature multiple endings and as a part of the PlayLink range of games, is made to help push the social gaming experience that Sony is after. For more on what players can expect, check out below:

Set between Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes films, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier thrusts the player into the midst of a mounting conflict between apes and humans as both sides struggle for survival. The game provides the chance to play and empathize with either species, pushing both groups towards either a fragile alliance, or an all-out war, with each and every decision made. Allowing up to four players at a time to engage in the story, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier pushes the boundaries of interactive drama, allowing players to explore and struggle with each choice collectively.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier will be available starting November 21 in North America and Europe.
