If you’ve been making your way through Happinet’s harrowing, horror-themed dungeon crawler Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle, there’s some good news for you. Some new, free content is out today, and all you have to do is finish the main story. Good luck!

The new update adds Revenge of the Domain, a new space to explore full of new bosses and enemies that use new attack patterns. The update also  adds a time attack mode, which is also accessible once the main story is completed.

A number of fixes are also applied with the update, which include the following:

  • Adjusted enemy spawn locations
  • Adjusted drop rate for food
  • Corrected text errors in the game and game trophies
  • Fixed the bug where enemies that drop from the ceiling clumping together
  • High-level dungeon enemies have around 20% less HP

If this is the first time you’re hearing about this game, Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle is a first-person dungeon crawler set in the Edo Period of Japan. You play as a squad of feudal ghost busters investigating a strange castle that appeared on Hyakki island. Spoiler: there are Yokai inside, and they want to kill you.
