Watch Dogs Legion Money Heist Mission

Watch Dogs: Legion Gets Crossover with Netflix’s Money Heist in Brand New Co-op Mission Available Now

Ubisoft has teamed up with Netflix to celebrate the start of Season 5 of Money Heist. The result is a themed online co-op mission for up to four players in Watch Dogs: Legion, and it is available for all players starting from today, August 30.

The Paperless mission tasks the Resistance with stealing crypto-currency from Clan Kelley and redistributing the money to “Londoners in need”. The problem is that currency is hidden in the Bank of England behind security guards and a firewall. Clan Kelley has also provided their own security detail to protect the millions of counterfeit ETO they have stored inside.

DeadSec is disguised in the typical red hooded jumpsuit and mask worn by the thieves in the Money Heist TV show when they tried to execute a heist at the Royal Mint of Spain. Alternatively you can go for a red motorcycle jacket and matching trousers. Players have a choice of trying to enter the bank silently and stealthily taking down guards, or whether to use a variety of weapons and go loud. Those who complete the mission will earn themselves an exclusive Red Jumpsuit Outfit and The Surrealist mask. Another themed skin will be available from the in-game shop.

The heist comes just a week after Assassin’s Creed content was added to the game through title update 5.5. Season Pass owners got to step into the shoes of a descendent of Jacob and Evie Fry from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as Darcy became the latest playable hero. All players were able to make use of her two new world missions and single-player missions. Other new content added during the same update included two PvP modes. Invasion mode made its return while Extraction, a take on Capture The Flag, was introduced to the franchise for the first time. There was also Resistance mode, a new way to play the campaign with more oppressive enemies, and the standalone Legion of the Dead mode.
